  • hello小伙伴们~ 这篇文章是英语学习之路的第一篇文章，以后我会在本站上发布更多内容的，所以这是一个日积月累的过程。

modal v.(情态动词) 应当，应该
用：ought to do… 应该做···
如：I wondered whether I ought to leave. 我想知道我是否应该离开。
辨：should, ought to
ought to和should都表示“应该”的意思。二者用法基本相同，只是ought to常用来表示因责任、义务等而应该做的事情，语气稍重些，而should则表示宜于做某事。

translate /træns'leɪt/

v. 翻译；(使)转变
例：The article was written in German and translated into Chinese. 这篇文章是用德文写的，并被译成了中文。
补：translation(n. 翻译；译文)；translator(n. 翻译家，译者)

dizzy /'dɪzi/

adj. 头晕目眩的
例： The room was so hot that he felt dizzy. 房间里非常热，他感到头晕目眩。

sure /ʃʊə(r)/

adj. 确信，肯定 adv. <口语> 的确，一定，当然
用：1. be sure about 有把握，确信 2. be sure to do… 一定会做···
如：Quite a few people used to believe that disaster was sure to strike if a mirror was was broken. 很多人曾经相信，如果镜子碎了，那么灾难肯定就会降临。

如： After a short holiday, he applied himself once more to his studies. 短暂的假期过后，他再次投入到学习中。
